MVMC, located in the Portland, Maine metro area, is an approximately 18,000 square foot state of the art, full-service, 24-hour emergency animal hospital built in 2008/2009 (with a significant expansion in 2019/2020). MVMC was acquired by Keeper Bay in August, 2020 MVMC is one of only 26 hospitals in the United States operating as a Certified Level 1 Facility with the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. MVMC is occupied by Rarebreed Veterinary Partners, Inc. Keeper Bay value-add: In early 2021, Keeper Bay completed a new parking lot for MVMC, allowing MVMC to continue to accommodate its growing needs in the existing space.
